Last updated: 2026
Before installing, copying, or using ICAS Automation software extensions (QuickApps) (hereinafter referred to as the “Software”), please read this End-User License Agreement (EULA) carefully. Installing or using the Software constitutes full acceptance of the terms below.
1. License Grant and Operating Principles
Section titled “1. License Grant and Operating Principles”1.1. Scope of License: The Licensor grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software solely on a single physical home automation hub (Fibaro Home Center 3 / Yubii Home) assigned to a unique Serial Number.
1.2. Trial Version (TRIAL):
- The Software is provided free of charge as a trial version (TRIAL) for a period of 14 days from the moment of the first automatic registration of the device in the licensing system.
- After 14 days, the trial version automatically expires (TRIAL_EXPIRED), and the Software transitions to an inactive state (DISABLED). Continued use requires the purchase and activation of a full license (FULL).
1.3. License Verification and Network Connection (Local-First):
- The Software’s decision logic executes 100% locally on the User’s hub processor.
- The User agrees to automatic, periodic requests made by the Software to the license verification server. During the request, only minimal technical identifiers are transmitted:
- Unique hub Serial Number.
- Software class identifier (App Class).
- User Interface Language (UI Language).
- Detailed rules regarding data protection and processing are specified in the Privacy Policy.
1.4. Restrictions: The license does not grant the right to:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or make the Software available for a fee to third parties without the written consent of the Licensor.
- Modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or remove any copyright notices contained in the source code.
2. Intellectual Property Rights

3. Activation, Updates, and Support
Section titled “3. Activation, Updates, and Support”3.1. Automatic Activation: Upon payment confirmation for the full license (FULL), the license will be activated in the database, and the Software will automatically fetch its updated status and unlock full functionality during the next verification, without requiring application reinstallation or any user intervention.
3.2. Access to Updates: With an active license, the User has the right to download and install the latest module versions for free from the Licensor’s official website.
3.3. The Licensor reserves the right to modify and optimize Software features in subsequent releases.
4. Disclaimer of Liability and Inactive State (DISABLED)
Section titled “4. Disclaimer of Liability and Inactive State (DISABLED)”The Licensor shall not be held liable for any impact on controlled devices, energy losses, or interruptions in home automation operations resulting from the Software’s automatic transition to the inactive state (DISABLED) upon expiration of the trial period or in the absence of an active license.
5. License Termination
Section titled “5. License Termination”The license terminates automatically if the User breaches any provision of this Agreement. In such an event, the User is obligated to immediately remove the Software from their Smart Home hub.
